Director/DOP

Charles-Alex Clement

French native Charles or Charlies discover videography by being one of the first in Australia to gain a following by uploading short, quirky video travel videos with his mentor Jeremy Angelier. Their work caught the eye of travel and tourism companies, and soon they were commissioned to film 80 episodes of a series following their adventures around Australia in a camper van.
It ignited his passion for telling stories by thinking outside the box and taught him how to transform film through editing and film edgy, contemporary content that would instantly engage.
After graduating from Sydney film school, he worked on music videos with Tribal Apes. After that, he crisscrossed the world, shooting TV ads, documentaries, and tourism films under Knack Studios before taking his road and launching Milkcrate Prod with creative mates.
Since Charles’s works have been recognised and appreciated by many, from Documentary production to creative content, camera knowledge and his eye for detail, charles has no limits.
His passion is meeting local people on his travels and filming their unique stories, especially if they involve the ocean.
